EAC Certificate — Key EAEU Technical Regulations (TR CU / TR EAEU)

TR CU = Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (ТР ТС). After reorganisation, new regulations are named TR EAEU. Each regulation defines mandatory safety rules, product scope, marking rules, and which conformity document is required: CoC (Certificate of Conformity) or DoC (Declaration of Conformity). One product may fall under multiple TR CU simultaneously; all applicable regulations must be covered in your EAC certificate / declaration.

EAC Certificate — Key EAEU Technical Regulations (TR CU / TR EAEU)

TR CU = Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (ТР ТС). After reorganisation, new regulations are named TR EAEU.

Each regulation defines mandatory safety rules, product scope, marking rules, and which conformity document is required: CoC (Certificate of Conformity) or DoC (Declaration of Conformity).

One product may fall under multiple TR CU simultaneously; all applicable regulations must be covered in your EAC certificate / declaration.

Additional important regulations

TR CU 006/2011: Pyrotechnic products (fireworks) → CoC
TR CU 021/2011: Food safety → SGR + DoC/CoC

TR EAEU 041/2017: Safety of chemical products → SGR + EAC document

Key principles

Mandatory scope: Only products covered by one or more TR CU / TR EAEU need EAC marking and conformity assessment. Goods outside all technical regulations are exempt from EAC.
Multiple regulations: For example, an industrial electric pump = TR CU 010/2011 (machinery) + TR CU 004/2011 (LVD) + TR CU 020/2011 (EMC). All three must be listed on the same CoC/DoC.
Conformity assessment scheme defined by TR: The regulation itself says whether CoC or DoC applies. You cannot freely choose.
EAC marking permission: After successful FGIS registration of CoC or DoC, you may apply the EAC mark on product/packaging.

Difference between TR CU and TR EAEU

TR CU: Adopted during the old Customs Union period (2011–2014), still fully valid today.
TR EAEU: New regulations adopted after establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union.
