High-Risk Products Mandatory for TR CU Certificate (CoC) All products below are legally required to apply for TR CU Certificate of Conformity (CoC); a TR CU Declaration (DoC) will be rejected by EAEU customs and market supervision. Each category links to its corresponding EAEU Technical Regulation (TR CU). 1. Explosion-Proof Equipment | TR CU 012/2011 Highest risk: risk of fire & blast in chemical, mining, gas industries Explosion-proof electric motors, junction boxes, switches, lighting fixtures Ex-proof sensors, control panels, pumps, fans for flammable gas/dust environments Mining underground electrical gear, chemical plant explosion-protected equipment 2. Pressure Equipment & Boilers | TR CU 032/2013 Risk of tank rupture, gas/liquid explosion Steam & hot water boilers, industrial pressure vessels, LPG gas cylinders High-pressure pipelines, heat exchangers, air compressors with pressure tanks Safety valves, pressure relief devices for industrial pressurized systems

Note: Small household electronics (fans, kettles) usually qualify for DoC; industrial power gear needs CoC.

Fire suppression systems, emergency exit lighting, fire doors, flame barriers
11. High-Risk Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) | TR CU 019/2011
Protects against fatal occupational hazards
Fall protection: safety harnesses, lifelines, scaffolding lanyards
Chemical/biological protective suits, gas masks, self-rescuers for mines
High-impact safety helmets, welding eye protection, cut-resistant heavy gloves
12. Railway Infrastructure & Rolling Stock | TR CU 003/2011
Rail transport safety critical parts
Train carriages, railway track equipment, braking systems, rail signal cabinets
13. Gas-Fueled Appliances (High-Risk Commercial) | TR CU 016/2011
Risk of gas leakage, explosion, carbon monoxide poisoning
Commercial gas boilers, industrial gas burners, restaurant gas cooking ranges
Gas heating units with high power output (residential small gas stoves may use DoC)
14. Pyrotechnics / Fireworks | TR CU 006/2011
Explosion & fire hazard for consumers
All consumer & professional fireworks, pyrotechnic display products
Key Rules for CoC vs DoC Distinction
If your product appears in the above list → only TR CU CoC is legal; DoC will be rejected at customs.
CoC requires: third-party accredited lab testing + factory audit (serial certificates) + annual surveillance.
DoC only applies to low-risk goods: regular furniture, textiles, small household appliances, hand tools, simple plastic goods, regular footwear.
All CoC documents are issued by Rosaccreditation-accredited certification bodies with official anti-counterfeit security paper.
